Book Opinion

Chapter 13 Summary:  In my opinion this was a great chapter, one of the few that made the book worth reading.  As Holden leaves the club and walks to the hotel he fells like a coward.  Holden get in the elevator and the operator offers him a prostitute for $5 and Holden excepts.  The prostitute enters Holdens room and he refuses to have sex with her.  She leaves and claims it was $10, and Holden refuses to pay and gives her $5.  This makes her upset but her just leaves mad and does not complain.

Chapter 14 Summary:  In this chapter Holden remineses about his dead brother Allie.  This is that chapter I told you about were Holden gets beat up.  As Holden tries to go to sleep the elevator operator comes in his room with the young prostitute who takes the money.  The operator punches Holden then they leave the room.  Eventually Holden goes to bed feeling bad about himself as he usually does.

Chapter 15 Summary:  In this chapter Holden checks out of the hotel as he sets up a date with a girl named Sally.  He eventually gets extreamly worried about what his mother will think about him getting kicked out of Pencey.  He goes to a sandwhich bar and just thinks.

Chapter 16 Summary:  Holden goes to a stoer and buys a record for his sister Phobe and movie tickets for his date.  After all of this Holden goes searching for Phobe at the park and at a museum.  Holden loved the museum and everything it stood for, but he still did not find Phobe.
