My opinion of the "Catcher In The Rye" was that it got good in the end but in the beginning it was horrible and uninteresting.
The best chapters were the ones in the middle when Holden had the most conflict with himself and others. In the begining
the story was slow and some of things that were mentioned were not necessary, and they were also uninteresting. After
the very beginning things slowly got better, even though some chapters were questionable and had not significance to the story.
As the story went along Holden had more drama in his life from being expelled to getting beat up by a pimp to seeing his sister(Loose
Lips Sink Ships). The best chapter in my opinion was the fight chapter and the first chapter. Well if you are
looking for a book with suspense from beginning to end than I do not recomend this book. If you do not mind waiting
a few chapters for things to speed up than I would recomend it. Overall the story was okay for me, because I had a lot
to relate to the main character. I give this story a 4.5 out of 10, and Mr. Salingner I do not plan to ever read one of your
books again unless I am forced to.
