Chapter 5 Summary: In this chapter Holden and some friends go to see a movie in Agerstown.
After going to the movies they go back to Holdens room and Ackley annoys Holden once again. Holden eventually gets Ackley
to leave and starts on the assignment for Stradlater. He eventually doesnt know what to right so he remineses about
his sister Allie and the baseball glove.
Chapter 6 Summary: In this chapter there was get intensity between Holden and Stradalater.
Stradalater reads the paper Holden wrote and hates it. Holden get made and then asks Stradalater about his date.
This question elevated the madness when he refuses to anwer Holden. Then Holden gets extemely mad and attacks him.
When Holden does this it does not effect Stradater because he just forces Holden down. Holden begins to disrespect him,
and Stradalter can not take it any more so he strikes Holden in the face. Stradlater does not want to hurt Holden
even though he continues to insult him, so Stradalater just leaves the room.
Chapter 7 Summary: In this chapter Stradalater is still away and Holden just speaks to Ackley
until Holden puts Ackley to sleep. Holden gets mad at the thought of Stradalter and Jane(his date). This makes
him mad so he awakes Ackley again, Ackley get pissed and goes back to sleep. He then decides that he wants to go to
New York early before his parents get the news that he is expelled. He then leavey pencey planning to never come back.
Chapter 8 Summary: This was the chapter that created a major downfall and turning point for Holden.
In thia chapter Holden catches the train to New York. While on the train he meets a women who he claims has extreme
sex appeal, and he tells extreme lies to the women as he usually does.
